Shepherd the flock of God that is among you.
RCIA or The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is part of the journey of becoming Catholic. It is a critical time during a prospect's spiritual formation, introducing Catholic beliefs and practices over time to prepare them for full reception into the communion of the Church.
As a Parish Catechist, RCIA Director, or volunteer, creating your RCIA program from scratch can be daunting.
Save time and resources by using the Beauty Truth Goodness: The Fundamentals of Catholicism DVDs as a guide to your RCIA classes.
These classes do not concern themselves with personal opinions or avant garde ideas; their purpose is to present what the Catholic Church teaches, as the Catholic Church teaches it. In this same vein, the course does not shy away from the areas of difference between Catholic and non Catholic Christian beliefs. This is done in a respectful manner, but clear explanations are presented so the listener will understand what the Church teaches and why we believe anything else is incorrect. The operative philosophy in the teaching style is to not only present the teachings of the Church, but to explain them so that people can see that the teachings of the Church are both reasonable and coherent.
